Resets, badges and prizes

How to reset, what it costs and gives, where the cap stands, and every badge you can earn with its prize.

Resets, step by step
  1. Reach the reset level.
  2. Have the Zen in your inventory, and from reset 11 the Jewels of Chaos too (the table below).
  3. Type /resetinfo to see what your next reset costs and gives, then /reset.
  4. You go back to the character selection and start again at a low level in your home town. Your stats go back to the start and all your reset points come back to spend again: build anew with what you have learned.

What a reset costs and gives

Leveling up again gives the usual level points on top of these.

The rules in short are also in the FAQ.

The reset cap

The cap rises by 5 every Saturday at 00:00 server time (Helsinki), up to the final cap of 100.

From the final cap, the grand reset starts your climb again, for prestige: see the grand reset.

The grand reset

At the final cap of 100 resets, a grand reset starts your climb again: for prestige, not power.

How

  1. Reach 100 resets and the reset level.
  2. Have the cost in your inventory: 100,000,000 Zen, 10 × Jewel of Chaos and 1 × Box of Kundun +5. The Box of Kundun +5 must be unopened: it comes from the rare golden monsters of the hunting grounds and the golden invasions.
  3. Type /grandreset: it shows what changes for your character. Then type /grandreset confirm within 60 seconds.

What changes and what stays

  • Your resets go back to 0 and your level to the start. Your stats go back to the start and you have no free points: every reset of the climb back gives its points again, as for anybody.
  • You keep your items, your vault, your Zen, your master level and master skills, your skills and your badges.
  • Gear you wear stays on and keeps working. Gear you take off needs its stat and level requirements again, so keep it on until your points are back.

What you get

  • Your grand resets on the rankings (more grand resets rank above more resets), on your profile and in the game (/grandreset).
  • The badges Grand Reset I, II, III, V and X with WCoin P (once per account), and a golden message to everybody.
  • Double experience for the climb back to 100 resets while you play (not with the MU Helper or offline).
  • No extra stat points: the grand reset is for prestige, not power.
Prizes
  • Many badges come with WCoin P, the coins you earn by playing. A badge's prize is paid once per account: to the first of your characters that earns it.
  • The coins wait in the X-Shop: open it in the game to collect them. Until then your account page shows them as on the way.
  • Nothing here is for sale, and nothing counts while you're away (MU Helper, offline leveling): finds, kills, events and upgrades count only when you play.
Badges

Earn them by hunting and progressing. Silver, Gold and Veil badges are announced to everybody in the game.

Showing your badge
  • Type /badge in the game to see your badges, /badge and a name to show one, /badge off to hide it and /badge auto to show your best one automatically.
  • You can also choose it on your account page. Your badge appears next to your name in the rankings, on your profile and in the game, when someone points at you or you chat.
